Canu Golden was born in Missoula, Montana, and raised in Laurel, a small town just outside of Billings. His family’s roots run deep in Montana ranching, with generations of experience raising certified Black Angus cattle along the Yellowstone River near Joliet. Growing up on the family ranch instilled in Canu a strong work ethic, a respect for the land, and a lifelong passion for the outdoors.
Throughout his school years, Canu was actively involved in sports, including baseball, football, and basketball—experiences that taught him the value of discipline, teamwork, and leadership. After graduating from Laurel High School, he attended Montana State University Billings, where he earned a two-year degree in applied science.
Canu is the youngest of four brothers and was raised in a family where hunting, fishing, and ranching were more than just traditions—they were a way of life. He worked closely with his brothers in their outfitting business, gaining hands-on experience in guiding, land management, and client service. After college, he managed a ranch specifically for hunting, where he continued to develop his skills in wildlife management and stewardship.
Now, Canu brings that same dedication and knowledge to his career in real estate. As an agent, he is committed to serving clients in all aspects of real estate sales. He is a proud member of the Golden team and works alongside his brother Caje and father Tony, whose combined experience and guidance strengthen the service he provides. With a foundation built on integrity, hard work, and a deep connection to Montana’s land, Canu is well-equipped to help clients navigate their real estate journey with confidence and trust.
