Eric Schmitz

Growing up on a farm in rural South Dakota, Eric not only learned the ins and outs of agriculture, but he also cultivated a love for the outdoors. He spent countless hours walleye fishing and deer hunting along the Missouri River. He loves the challenge of the hunt and has developed a deep respect for God’s creation.

In college, Eric studied agriculture and earned a degree in Ag Business. He now has worked for over 20 years in the industry assisting farmers reach their goals and establishing lifelong relationships with his clients. Eric and his wife Holly share their love for the outdoors with their four children. As a family, they spend their time hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, skiing or anything you can do out in nature.

Eric’s love for the outdoors fuels his passion for hunting whitetail, mule deer and elk. He has hunted in many beautiful places but especially enjoys hunting in South Dakota due to the state’s great game management. Eric has a great deal of experience in searching for and recognizing untapped potential in hunting land as well as making improvements to increase its worth and utilization.

Building relationships, hard work and dedication to excellence are what Eric considers to be the building blocks of good business. Understanding that each clients’ needs are unique, Eric utilizes his creativity and persistence to promote the best land transaction for each individual client, whether buying or selling.
