Kari Christensen

Having been born and raised in rural Montana, Kari's love for the outdoors has been engrained in her from a very young age. Her father owned and operated a sawmill and did the logging. Some of her best memories during those early years were of tagging along with him "to the woods." He instilled in her the need to take care of the land and always leave it better than you found it. This is a core value that she holds to today as well. He also shared with her his love for hunting and fishing. Family vacations were generally summer trips to the mountains for camping and fishing in the small creeks. She fondly remembers sitting in trees with her dad during archery season. These experiences all helped to give her a love for the outdoors that she still experiences every chance she gets.

Kari moved to Arthur, NE, in 1996, and although she missed the trees she saw in Montana, it didn't take long for her to see the amazing beauty in the Nebraska Sandhills. She might have roots in Montana but found a home in Nebraska. She and her husband, Jason, own and operate Crusty's Feed Store and are very involved in their community. They are both volunteer firefighters, and Kari is an Advanced EMT.

Together, they have five grown children and many grandchildren. Faith and Family are fundamental to both of them, and they love nothing more than spending time together as a family!

She looks forward to being able to help people find their dreams in the beautiful Sandhills.
