Matt Lawver

Born in Illinois and raised in Indiana, Matt Lawver is rooted in Midwest tradition, and built on hard work, faith, and a deep love for the outdoors. His passion for hunting, fishing, and working the land has shaped both his lifestyle and his career.

Originally a butcher by trade, Matt and his wife are the owners of Field to Fork, a local meat market and grocery store in small town Indiana, focused on high-quality, local, ethically sourced meats. His deep respect for animals — both wild and domestic — fuels his belief in living off the land and honoring God’s creation. It’s this mindset that gives him a unique connection to the land and the people who steward it.

Matt has traveled the country in pursuit of game, big and small, gaining valuable experience across a wide range of terrain and wildlife habitats. This is the same hands-on knowledge that now guides his clients as they buy and sell property — whether it's a hunting farm, pastureland, or a recreational getaway.

Today, as a Whitetail Properties Land Specialist, Matt combines his lifelong outdoor experience with a strong work ethic and a heart for helping others. He understands that buying or selling land is often one of life’s biggest decisions, and he’s committed to making the process clear, honest, and rewarding from start to finish.
