Tanner Flatt

Growing up in a small town of the EUP he lived and breathed all things outdoors. Tanner doesn’t remember his first time hunting or fishing; it’s been a way of life since birth, having been carried to the deer blind and fishing boat while still in car-seats.

Growing up with a self-employed father, business operations were a part of everyday life. In high school at age 16, he branched out and began the first business of his own. After highschool, Tanner attended Michigan Technological University, where he acquired a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Operating his business simultaneously with his studies, Tanner tailored his schedule for entrepreneurship taking additional classes in business law, accounting, and finance. Upon graduation from MTU, Tanner returned home to continue growing his business operations and storefront, successfully placing merchandise on 6 of 7 continents. Through this business, he acquired years of experience in customer service, communication, media, and business development.

A lifelong U.P. resident and landowner since age 23, Tanner is very passionate about all aspects of the Upper Peninsula. From the whispering pines and the strong maples to the cold trout streams and inland lakes, he believes the Upper Peninsula is truly the definition of God’s Country.
