In early 2017 my Fiancé and I began a search for property in the Ozarks of southern MO. We were not looking for just any old farm. Our specifics included seclusion/privacy, timber, land that was adjacent to USFS lands to avoid future neighbors too close by and close access to public lands for hunting of species that can cover a lot of ground such as wild turkeys and wild hogs. There were issues with access easements across USFS lands that included finding a title company willing to insure property land locked by Federal ground. Ted worked with our banker, the sellers, the title companies and the USFS and in spite of all the red tape and having to re-schedule closings and extend contracts we are now proud owners of a beautiful, secluded 40 acres in the Mark Twain National Forest.
