Medicine River often times allows hunting on one side or the other as many parcels do not cross over, this hunting farm maintains both sides for an extensive distance. Located south of Medicine Lodge and north of Kiowa, this tract lays in an area that has been known for exceptional habitat and big deer genetics for many years. With personal experience hunting in this area, we can say we have seen some of the biggest deer ever along this stretch of river. With thick habitat that has been managed specifically for hunting big deer and turkey, this farm has been a year over year producer, and it is a “ready, set, go” for this fall. The north side of the farm has a small tillable field that would be great for set up for muzzleloader or rifle hunting with either wheat, milo, or of course alfalfa for the go to forage. There is also a food plot that was implemented on the east side of the river, centrally located, the deer seem to flock to as well. The south side of the farm is very secluded and with minimal foot traffic as well. The farm has great access and maintains mowed trails to the already set up blinds and feeders. Also known to be an excellent quail area, this property has plenty of grass out away from the river for after deer season wraps up to do some wing shooting.
