Approximately 15-17 acres on the west side of the pond was timbered two years ago and it has become a giant bedding area as well as fawning area. The day I took the pictures as I was standing there a young buck walked out into the water from this timbered area and drank (see pics). The deer traffic going around the edges of the pond is very noticeable with well worn trails very visible. This makes for excellent ambush locations all around the water. This type of cover and available food and water will make for tremendous hunting for years to come. The beaver pond is approximately 6 +/- acres and provides very good duck and goose hunting. There were several geese nesting here this spring as well as ducks. The fall duck hunting should be great as well as the goose hunting. There is also an old sand pit that makes for a fantastic shooting range with distances over 100 yds easily attainable. It also makes for a sweet trap and pistol range. It is located towards the front of the property so as not to disturb the wildlife, and a quick walk from the building. The property is not your typical pool table flat Michigan parcel; there are several hills and valleys that add to the beauty and usefulness of this property. I could go on and on …..it really needs to be seen to appreciate how special it is. In this market it will not last so call me today to set up a private tour.
