The Lewis Wetzel Wildlife Management Area is located a few miles to the north and offers public hunting opportunities. There is a gas line right-of-way that runs along the very western edge of the property along the ridge. It would make an exceptional hunting spot during gun season and also for turkey in the spring. There is electricity and a phone line available at the road. The FEMA 100 year flood plain does not appear to come up into the field (unconfirmed), so it should not be a problem for those looking to build in the field along the road. There is some mature timber and harvestable value if you are interested in making some income off of this recreational tract. Mineral rights are not included.
