About Amy Winchell

Amy began her career at Whitetail Properties in 2021. Before joining Whitetail Properties, Amy worked in and managed corporate and private practice Optometry offices for 11 years. In this role, she was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily operations of the offices and their various departments. Some of her responsibilities included coordinating the surgery schedule with the nearby surgery centers, accurately scribing/coding exams, performing testing to determine eye health, scheduling employees to ensure proper coverage, perform employee evaluations, interviewing, and training new staff members.

At Whitetail Properties, Amy is the In-House Broker Assistant Supervisor. In this role, Amy is responsible for providing support to the In-House Broker Team in order to ensure a successful work environment between an assigned In-House Broker Assistant and the agents that (s)he represents. Amy provides oversight to our team of In-House Broker Assistants and ensures processes are followed and transactional and listing documentation is accurate. In addition, Amy continues to assist as an In-House Broker Assistant for 5 agents in 3 states. In this role, she reviews and audits purchase and listing contracts, and proofs published property listings against the listing language as it is written in each listing contract. She coordinates closing with title companies, works with the marketing team to execute marketing campaigns, and tracks the agents’ budgets. She is also responsible for processing agent commission payments and earnest money checks.

Amy has lived most of her life in Pike County, Illinois. She enjoys creative outlets, such as photography and crafts. She also enjoys longs Jeep rides on the Pike County back roads, deer and turkey hunting, and spending time with her husband, Cory, and four kids.
